Recover faster when you're sick.
When you're down with the flu, a cold, or a virus and you don't have the energy to wait it out, this drip is built to support your body's recovery from the inside.
Being sick is exhausting. Fever, body aches, nausea, and fatigue drain your body of fluids and nutrients faster than you can replenish them — especially when you can barely get out of bed. The Flu Hydration IV delivers the hydration, vitamins, and symptom relief your body needs directly into your bloodstream, so you're not waiting for pills to kick in or forcing yourself to drink when you feel awful.
What's Inside
A targeted blend of IV fluids, electrolytes, high-dose Vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, anti-nausea medication, and anti-inflammatory pain relief. Fluids and electrolytes address dehydration quickly. High-dose Vitamin C supports immune response and helps your body fight back. Anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory components address symptoms directly, so you can actually rest and recover instead of just lying there feeling terrible.
Who It's For
Anyone who is sick with the flu, a cold, a stomach bug, or a viral illness and wants to recover faster. This drip is especially helpful for people who are too nauseous to take oral medications, struggling to keep fluids down, running a fever, or simply want to do everything they can to support their recovery.
What to Expect
A licensed RN comes to your home — you do not need to leave. The session takes about 30 to 45 minutes. You stay comfortable while the drip works. Most clients feel noticeably better within a few hours, with reduced nausea, improved hydration, and more manageable symptoms.
Why Moonlit IV
Every treatment at Moonlit IV is administered by a licensed, experienced nurse under the physician oversight of Dr. Anna Marie Macias, MD. When you're sick, the last thing you should be doing is driving to a clinic. We come to you — and we bring everything we need.
We serve Santa Barbara, Montecito, Carpinteria, Goleta, Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Buellton, and surrounding areas.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
-
IV therapy doesn't cure viral illness, but it can significantly support your body's ability to recover. The fluids, vitamins, and medications in this drip address dehydration, immune function, and active symptoms — which can meaningfully shorten how long you feel bad and how severe it gets.
-
Yes. Our nurses are healthcare professionals who take appropriate precautions. Please let us know when you book that you're currently sick so we can ensure your nurse comes prepared.
-
That's exactly what this drip is for. Because it's delivered intravenously, you don't need to be able to eat or drink anything. The anti-nausea medication in the formula also helps settle your stomach directly.
-
In most cases, yes. Your nurse will assess your symptoms and health history when they arrive. If there's any concern, they'll consult with our supervising physician before proceeding.
-
The Flu Hydration IV is a supportive treatment, not a substitute for medical care. If your symptoms are severe, you're having difficulty breathing, or you've been sick for an extended period, please seek medical attention. Our nurse can also advise you on whether additional care is recommended.
